Meg Leitold
Meg is a Registered Psychotherapist and SEP based in Tkaronto/Toronto with a practice in developmental trauma. She holds an MEd in Counselling Psychology and has also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, DBT, ego state therapy/IFS, NeuroAffective Touch, and other touch-based somatic modalities. Meg has extensive experience supporting people with persistent dissociative processes, including dissociative identities. She is trained in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for comorbid mental health and neurological indications.
Meg’s therapeutic lens holds the impacts of structural violence, collective trauma, and organized abandonment closely in understanding people’s experience of themselves in the world. She brings personal and professional experience to her work with LGBTQ2S+ people, and is committed to anti-oppression, self-reflective practice, cultural humility, and harm reduction. Meg’s approach in therapy emphasizes safety, dignity, and self-determination. She seeks to support each person she sits with to reconnect to their body’s wisdom, inner knowing, and inherent wholeness.
